Roads, scooters and horns

I have been in Jakarta for 2 days now, the time is spent mostly traveling from place to place, the traffic here is amazing, slow and demanding-something to be seen, heard and smelt.

The traffic is a law unto itself, take no chances when you are crossing the road, road lines are used at best as a guideline and the best tool in your driving kit is a big toot on your horn.

Scooters run amok zigging and zagging through the buses and cars somehow never colliding.
There are an estimated 12-20 million people in Jakarta which makes for less personal space and a lot less space on the roads...Commuters to and from Stoke never had it so easy!

I also came across McDelivery-which I'm sure a few of HSS students would think is a pretty amazing idea...
